The Second Vatican Council that took place from 1962 to 1965 is the most influencing event in the history of Catholic Church in these modern times. Church scholars and historians often call this council as the French Revolution in the Catholic Church and the event that opened the door of the Church to the modern world. But we must examine in the light of the Word of God, the Eternal Truth, how this council influenced the Divine Plan for the Children of God, in these End Times.

The Apostles of Jesus Christ who were sent to different parts of the world proclaimed Jesus Christ as the only Lord and Saviour and preached His Gospel. But, what awaited them and the early Christians were humiliations, persecutions and martyrdom. The church was not of this world, though it was in this world. But, after the Roman Emperor Constantine gave the church freedom and status in society to unite his empire, the Church began to be loved and respected by this world. The world loves what is its own (Jn. 15/18-19). The church, which should have sought the Kingdom of God that comes with power and Divine Righteousness (Mt. 6/33), slowly began seeking the authority, power, honour, glory and pleasures of this world. The church, which was deceived by the lord of this world, became enslaved to materialism and this worldly kingdom, in the course of time. They accepted the proposal of satan (Mt. 4/8-9).

The grand finale of this love affair with satan was Vatican Council II which took place from 1962–1965. This council which John XXIII began to modernize the church and conform it to the world (aggiornamento) was concluded by Pope Paul VI in the same ‘spirit’. Thus, the church made its promise of marriage to satan. The pope and the council leaders could sell the church as a slave to satan through this council.

A tree is known by its fruits (Lk. 6/44). What are the fruits that Vatican Council II has produced and is producing? This council could successfully form a set of church leaders and church-believers who have rejected the basic tenets of the true Christian faith which until then had been revered. These Council-bred priests and laymen now earnestly indulge in the utter violation of the First Commandment by keeping all sorts of idols in them, abominable practices in the adoration of God, rejection of the Word of God and worship of church instead of the adoration of God. Multitudes of believers have deserted the catholic church, which is possessed by the evil spirit of Vatican Council II. Sexual perversions in priests scandalously rose in number and intensity throughout the world. Many churches and seminaries in the developed nations were closed down. Thus ‘aggiornamento’ in effect, led to the disintegration of the church from within.
